He was kind enough to let us taste a selection from his collection:

2. Macallan, 12 years 

3. Glenlivet, 12 years 

4. Glenmorangie Original, 10 years 

5. Bruichladdich, Bourbon Cask, 16 years 

6. Bruichladdich, Oloroso Cask, 12 years 

7. Highland Park, 12 years 

8. Laphroaig, 10 years

The Glenlivet was my favorite, followed by Macallan. 

Laphroaig literally tasted as if you had licked a freshly tarred road!

Over all I found it fascinating (like in whine) what different flavors can be in one tiny sip!
